How you will use it

1. Tailor the starting list

Review the 12 starter deliverables against the project contract, specifications and owner turnover requirements. Add, edit or remove records to fit the actual project.

2. Assign the handoff

Enter a unique ID, deliverable, trade or system, owner and due date. Set the As-of date on Deliverables; the other tabs use the same cutoff.

3. Record acceptance evidence

Selecting Accepted alone does not close a deliverable. Enter the accepted date and evidence reference as well. For Not required, record its basis or reference.

4. Complete the training record

Record the topic, trainer, owner, planned and completed dates, attendance evidence and open follow-up actions. A dated session with an open action stays Action open.

5. Register the warranties

Enter the original start/end dates, vendor contact and document reference. Date flags do not interpret coverage, exclusions, claim terms or an entitlement to service.

A fictional worked example

Deliverables has 100 prepared rows, including 12 starter items. Training and Warranties each have 100 prepared rows. The outstanding deliverable count excludes only Accepted entries with evidence and Not required entries with a recorded basis. Warranty flags use inclusive start/end dates and the manually entered cutoff. Reference secure access-handover records; do not put passwords or access codes into the workbook.

Software and use

Delivered as an editable .xlsx workbook and PDF guide. Compatible spreadsheet software and a PDF reader are required. No macros. Formulas and status changes were checked in the authoring engine; desktop Excel and Google Sheets import have not been independently tested. Desktop use is recommended for the wide tables.

One purchase covers internal use by one business and its employees/project teams. Completed project records may be shared with customers; resale or redistribution of blank products is not included.
